The Arts Trail Brochure
The Arts Trail Brochure (released on Sept 1st) provides ‘at a glance’ information to help visitors plan their route. A map of the area shows where all participating artists may be found: venues are listed for easy reference; Venue Opening Dates and Times are listed, as well as artists by name, their venue and the page on which they appear in the brochure. This enables visitors on the trail of specific artists to locate them easily.
Following the Arts Trail enables visitors to discover the latest works of their favourite artists … and find new artists and types of artwork to add to their ‘favourites’ list. SHAF hopes all visitors to the Arts Trail will have a wonderful time. In addition take the opportunity to drop in for a delicious lunch or cream tea at one of the cafes, hotels, pubs and restaurants advertised in the brochure.

Creative Passions 2024
An exhibition by members of South Hams Arts Forum (SHAF)
Sunday 11th – 18th August 2024
Since at least 2009, SHAF members have been holding a summer exhibition to showcase their latest creative passions. Formerly, it was known as the Contemporary Passions exhibition and it was held in Harbour House. But from 2024, SHAF is showcasing its summer exhibition at the Thurlestone Parish Hall.
In this show, like in every past summer exhibition, a number of SHAF artists collaborate to showcase a variety of media, in 2D and 3D, such as painting, printmaking, ceramics, mosaics, plus occasional surprises from new emerging artists, making an interesting and varied exhibition.
This year SHAF Contemporary Passions has attracted artists and crafts people who are new to South Devon, bringing with them their established reputations. The exhibitors this year include both professional and semi-professional artists, several of whom also teach.
The final list of artists taking part in 2024 will be published at the end of June.
