I am a local artist surrounded by beautiful countryside and coastline which gives me endless inspiration for my paintings.  I work in many mediums, drawing inspiration from my local surroundings and enjoy plain air painting.  My approach can be of a conventional way but I also enjoy experimenting with different techniques, working with bright colours, creating textures which have many surprises during the development of my more abstract creations.  I like to create movement in my vibrant seascapes to enable the viewer to feel the motion and intensity of the subject, and I’m inspired by elements in all shapes and forms, and in all nature’s designs within landscapes.
