My paintings are deeply inspired by the beautiful Devon coastline. I strive to capture the essence of the sea, the sky, and the raw emotions they evoke, translating these elements onto canvas.

I started painting three years ago as a means of expressing the profound impact of the landscape on my senses. Although I am a self-taught artist, I bring my background in photography to my art. My process typically begins with small studies on paper, which inform larger paintings or serve as a testing ground for mark-making. I then engage in a more intuitive process, playing with paint on canvas and adding various media for texture until the painting reveals itself.
