With experience in fine marquetry, photography and bookbinding my work ranges from delicate marquetry butterflies to photographs of raging seas and hand made miniature books, the Devon countryside and coastline providing a constant source of inspiration. Most of my landscape photographs are taken during the ‘golden hour’ of early morning or late afternoon as this gives the most interesting light, producing more evocative images. Photo images of both landscape and nature are available mounted or framed and also as greeting cards. A small selection of images can always be seen in the Hope Cove Gallery. My miniature books are traditionally bound using fine leather or book cloth and specialist book binding papers. They contain a variety of quotations from philosophers, politicians, poets, writers etc with many different front covers to choose from.
