Returning to my art college routes after having children, I discovered clay by chance a was hooked. The never ending possibilities of form that clay offers, allows me to develop my work in multiple directions, guided by the materials around me and often allowing the clay to guide the direction I travel in. From 1 off sculptural large moon jars and vessels, to functional tableware, I work in stoneware and use different textural finishes from slips to high fire glazes, and mixed clay bodies to customise each piece.
