Lucy Rose is a freelance Illustrator that graduated from Falmouth University a few years ago with a BA in Illustration and is currently represented by The Artworks agency, London and Mendola Artists agency, New York. Her work is hugely inspired by vintage prints, art- deco posters and textile pattern. Lucy has always loved print processes and this is reflected in her work with organic textures and graphic compositions. Living in Devon, she also takes huge inspiration from the countryside and sea on her doorstep, so a lot of her non- commissioned work is animal & plant based.
When Lucy is not working on commissions she loves to create vibrant patterns which have been transferred onto cards, fabrics, cushions and accessories.
Lucy has worked on lots of exciting projects, mainly in the Editorial and Children/ Adult book sectors. Clients include Penguin Books, The FT, The Telegraph, Radio Times, Liz Earle, Waitrose, National Trust, Lonely Planet, Macmillan children’s books, Tesco, Good Housekeeping and more.
