Full Biography
- Born in Devon and living in Kingsbridge since 1989, I am deeply connected to the beautiful coast and countryside around me. I love responding to the effects of light and colour in different weather conditions and times of the day. I take my passion for drawing and painting with me on my travels as well and enjoy using a range of mediums including watercolours, acrylics, inks and oils. My career as a school and university teacher brought me huge joy and inspiration that I carry forward now in my practice. I studied fine art at Gloucestershire College of Arts and Technology and it is to those creative days as a painter I return to now making my own art as well as teaching children and adults for workshops at the Mercer ArtBox in Kingsbridge.
