I have lived and worked in Devon since graduating from Exeter College of Art in 1980.

Light and the effect it has on the land and sea is the starting point for much of my art. The rugged coastal cliffs of Devon, Cornwall and Pembrokeshire being a particularly rich source of subject matter in recent years.

Working from small sketches and photographs made on location, I develop these into more considered. pieces back in the studio, in either oil or watercolour, choosing whichever medium seems the most appropriate for the subject.

I have taken part in numerous shows and exhibitions over the years across the south west and further afield.
