My name is Tara Baker and I have always been creative, whether that means potato printing with my nephew or cutting a detailed lino print. I am happiest when I am creating something new. I often create works relating to natural forms or inspired by flowers or bees.

I studied Animation Production and Bournemouth University where I was taught the fundamentals of drawing. If I am honest I don’t draw enough to be the standard I was then but I try to draw when I can.
I started creating lino prints after revisiting the process on a 10 week course with Plymouth Arts College. It was great to try the different printing processes and falling back in love with cutting and printing lino. The process always amazes me but still working on getting relief lino right 🙂

I also like to produce detail paper collage pieces using colour to capture the of what I am trying to replicate.

I am currently not very present on social media, this is something I would like to work on, including having more confidence in my craft. I have some images on @Taras_perfect_imperfections.

Life gets busy but always try to find time for art.
