SHAF Membership Terms and Conditions
Thank you for joining SHAF. By subscribing as a member, you agree to the following:
- Communication (Mailchimp): We will add you to our Mailchimp email list to deliver periodic member updates. These communications are an essential part of your membership service. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails, but please note that doing so may prevent you from receiving vital information regarding your membership benefits.
- Artist Portfolio: You are responsible for all content (text and images) uploaded to your portfolio. You must ensure you hold the necessary rights to this content and that it does not infringe on third-party rights or UK law. SHAF reserves the right to remove content at its discretion.
- Secure Payments (Stripe): You authorise SHAF to securely store your payment method via Stripe, our third-party payment processor. SHAF does not store your full payment card details on our own servers.
- Annual Renewals: You authorise SHAF to debit your stored payment method for your initial payment and subsequently in March each year. The subscription amount is determined by the Committee; we will notify you via email at least 14 days prior to any renewal if the subscription rate has changed.
- Pro-Rata Credits: If you joined mid-year (other than in March), a pro-rata credit for unused months will be applied automatically to your first full renewal in March.
- Cancellations: You may cancel your membership at any time by logging into the website and visiting the Members/Account section.
Liability: SHAF is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from your use of the website or the publication of your portfolio.
