Andy Ford has painted in his spare time all his adult life. He retired from the RFA in March 2019 and is hoping to have more time for painting in the future. He started out with acrylics but quickly moved onto to pastels and watercolour. His interest in acrylics has been re-awakened recently by using a wet-in-wet technique which gives a result like watercolour but on a larger scale. His latest work is in this medium. He has exhibited with SHAF at Harbour House and in the Plympton Guild Hall with the Plympton Painting Group.
