After many years working in media in London, a move to south Devon in 2009 to run a retreat centre set within 80 acres of glorious countryside, inspired Louise to pick up her paint brushes for the first time in 35 years.  

Her abstract landscape & seascape works are inspired by the open vistas of Devon’s Coast Path & Dartmoor National Park – both supplying her with an endless wealth of material to work with.    

She works in an intuitive way, making marks at speed, often in ink, then refining, reshaping and finessing the interpretations of the ebb & flow of nature that this part of Devon displays in its most basic form.
