I live and work in Modbury, South Devon. Having always been a creative person, I paint in my pastime, when I’m not walking my dogs or riding my horses, and I’ve developed my own style. I’m inspired by what I see – the south Devon coast, moorland, fields, flowers and sheep! Sometimes I’ll paint from original photographs, more often than not from memory, so that the painting becomes a nod to the original scene. Spontaneous and in the moment, a few strokes will determine the scene, and then it might flow, or change direction, and if the mood is right, I’ll add pink, my favourite colour.
