My background is in textiles giving me a love of mixed media, texture, colour and mark making. I taught Art, Graphic Design, Art Textiles and Photography at Plymouth College, recently focussing on my own work.

I am inspired by the Devon landscape, my work starting from observation but changing through the effect of layers, textures and colours to create a feeling of place. I use varied media but mainly acrylic, also Lino print, etching, mono print and collage, exploring mood light and atmosphere.

I have exhibited at Delamore Arts, Birdwood House gallery, Studio Nine, the Paradiso as well as exhibiting at local shows and organising pop ups and selling work online.
